10 Natural Tips For Beautiful Skin

natural tips for beautiful skin

Millions of dollars are spent daily on skin care products that claim to be “all natural”. Most of the time they are not – but there’s a reason why they claim to be: because consumers are aware that natural is better.

In this article, I’m going to reveal ten of my best skin care tips so you can achieve beautiful, glowing, vibrant and healthy skin using the power of nature’s wonders.

1. Healthy, glowing, beautiful skin starts with, like most things, good nutrition. Vitamin E is one of the most effective vitamins for skin care and is naturally found in foods such as sunflower seeds, nuts, vegetable oils, tomatoes, pine nuts, wheat germ and avocado. Include these foods in your diet as the first, and most important, step.

2. Secondly, and quite obviously, hydration is important. 6-8 glasses of water will help flush the toxins and pollutants from your body leading to clearer, more glowing skin.

3. Improve your circulation and notice better quality skin. Improving your circulation can be as simple as moving around more often. If you spend most of the day sitting at your desk, then set aside a few moments every 30 minutes or so to get up, move around and increase your blood flow. This will prevent cellulite, skin puffiness and acne.

4. Try making your own homemade face masks. Face masks are one of the best ways to moisturize, eliminate trapped dirt, draw out impurities and remove the top layer of dead skin cells. Here are my top five best homemade face masks.

5. Apply Shea Butter to your skin daily and reap the magical benefits it has for your skin. It protects from the sun up to SPF 6, it is anti-inflammatory, emollient, and humectant and when applied to the face it can reduce fine lines, wrinkles and dry skin. Pick up some raw unrefined Shea Butter from here.

6. Coconut oil, applied topically, is highly effective at moisturizing, exfoliating, delaying wrinkles and firming sagging skin. Pick up a tub and use regularly to reap the benefits.

7. Applying honey to the skin can create a soothing and smoothing facial to moisturize your skin. Add some oats or some wheat germ oil to help exfoliate.

8. Acne is one of the most common skin complaints, and there are a huge number of natural substances and oils you can apply to reduce or even completely prevent new breakouts. For example coconut oil, jojoba oil and witch hazel. You can also try a face mask with bentonite clay and organic honey to help clear acne.

9. Steam your face daily by placing boiling water in a bowl and putting your head over it with a towel. Add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to enhance the effect.

10. This is a good one! Wine is rich in antioxidants and vitamins and fantastic for the skin. A glass every so often can’t hurt! Alternatively, put some wine in a spray bottle and spray on your skin every day. Alcohol eradicates germs and dries grease.

  1. Love the tips. My only concern with spraying myself down with wine every day would be that I’d suspiciosly smell like a winery all the time. Maybe on the weekends though;-)

  2. I love the articles you have so far emailed to me, the lastest one on the Shea Butter
was most interesting. I shall phone the organic shops to see if they stock it here in the
South Island. NZ. I have used the different hair shampoo.. wonderful
