Autumn & Winter Beauty Tips To Keep You Looking Your Best

In a hurry every morning? Here’s how you can make your life easier and look done on the run.

Prepare your outfits on Sunday evening by getting them together on a hanger and labeling each with a piece of paper that says the day of the week you plan on wearing it. You’ll look stylish in no time – every time you walk out the door.

For a healthy breakfast that lets you snooze an extra five minutes, prepare a shake at night. A great vitamin C filled shake recipe includes mixing ½ a cantaloupe, 2 tomatoes, fresh squeezed orange juice from 2 oranges and a cup of strawberries. This will keep you healthy and looking refreshed.

If you are worried that you won’t have time to put on make-up in the morning, here’s how to get away with it. After washing your face, (A MUST-DO for healthy skin), mix a self-tanner into your night cream. The next day you will save five minutes and still look great, because your skin will have a subtle warmth and your imperfections will be camouflaged. This will get you glowing with little or no makeup.

If you must use color, layer cheek color by using your coolest pink shade of powder blush as a bottom layer and topping off with a cream blush in a darker shade.

What about a fast hair do that looks classy and put together? Straighten top and front sections of hair then pull the sections into a low ponytail or bun. To keep it neat all day, wear a headband about 1 inch from your hairline.

Speaking of hair….a top trend this Fall is the classic French twist. It will give you a touch of volume at the top with a definite touch of class. My favorite trend this Fall/Winter is smooth bangs with loose waves for a polished and stylish look. Here’s how you can create this look:

1. Blow dry hair loosely using your hands instead of a brush to keep the texture.
2. Clip your bangs to keep them out of the way.
3. Curl 1-3 inch sections of hair using a 3/4” curling iron.
4. Let cool and brush out waves.
5. Unclip bangs and straighten them with a 1” flat iron.
6. Finish with a light mist of shine-infusing hairspray.

Now, back to your face….the latest makeup trick for the holidays will have your eyes gleaming quickly. Simply smooth shimmery cream shadow across your eyelid with your fingertips. Be careful not to use any shadow with too much frost. Frost is white and will look pasty and washed out. Choose a true color like gold, purple or blue.

Add a little sparkle this season!
