Dry and damaged hair is a common problem among many people, especially for women.  This is generally caused by the over-use of harmful hair care products and treatments, heat styling equipment, and everyday environmental factors such as extreme temperatures, wind and sun.

The secret to getting hair back to a healthy and manageable state is to replenish and maintain moisture in the hair and scalp.  There are a wide number of natural ingredients that have amazing beneficial qualities that can help re-invent your hair and restore its natural shine and vibrancy.  The best ingredients are those containing high levels of essential fatty acids as well as vitamins and minerals important for our hair.  These secret ingredients are typically cream-based indicating their intense moisturizing abilities such as avocado, banana, and egg.

Try out the following homemade recipes for the treatment of dull and damaged hair. If used on a regular basis you will start to notice a vast improvement in the overall condition of your hair.

Firstly, if you don’t want to make your own hair masks and instead want a ready made solution, I strongly recommend this Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque.
