When most people develop cellulite, they turn to “miracle” creams and lotions which not only are outrageously expensive, they are also packed with chemicals and toxins – toxins which are one of the most common causes of cellulite in the first place!

Plus, deeper analyses of these expensive cellulite creams reveal some interesting facts…

Take a look at one of the most popular cellulite creams in the world – Finulite: The End To Cellulite AM/PM. And then take a look at the active ingredients.

Three of the active ingredients in this product are:

– Lavender essential oil
– Rosemary essential oil
– Lemon essential oil

Now how about this anti-cellulite cream? Svelte Pro Supercharged Organic Anti-Cellulite Treatment

This product contains a huge number of ingredients, including:

– Pine essential oil
– Grapefruit essential oil
– Lemon essential oil
– Lime essential oil
– Mandarin essential oil
– and many more.

You don’t need to spend a fortune on anti-cellulite creams, lotions and potions. Instead use the power of nature’s essential oils and rid yourself of those fatty deposits for good.

The essential oil anti-cellulite program involves three stages:

1. Brush cellulite affected areas in an upward motion with a brush of real bristles, such as this one.

2. Bathe in the below essential oil enriched bath.

3. Massage with the below essential oil massage blend.

Cellulite Busting Bath

Adapted from The Complete Book Of Essential Oils & Aromatherapy.

NOTE: I’m often asked “Which brand of essential oils do you recommend?” Generally we recommend Eden’s Garden Essential Oils – which you can see and buy here – but there are many good (and not so good) essential oil brands and it’s an issue that divides many.

Before running your bath, mix together: six drops each of oregano oil and juniper oil, eight drops of basil oil and mandarin oil, and ten drops each of grapefruit oil and lemon oil and set aside.

Add two handfuls of Epsom salts and one handful of rock salt to the bath and run the water. Add eight drops of the above essential oil blend to your bath and set the rest aside for your next bath.

Bathe in the water for at least 20 minutes regularly massaging the cellulite areas under the water.

Cellulite Busting Essential Oil Massage Oil

After your essential oil infused cellulite busting bath, massage the affected areas with this really simple massage oil.

Blend two tablespoons of sweet almond oil with five drops of jojoba oil and five drops of carrot oil. To this mixture add fourteen drops of juniper oil, 10 drops of lemon oil and six drops of oregano oil.

This massage oil, combined with the essential oil bath recipe and the skin brushing will help you to significantly reduce your cellulite without having to spend a fortune on cosmetic products and without the harmful chemicals and toxins.

  1. Hello,

While I love that your website is giving great tips about how to naturally reduce cellulite, I find that it’s misleading to talk about spending a fortune on cellulite creams/lotions, as though it’s though it’s cheaper to go the natural route. It’s definitely more expensive to buy all these essential oils than to buy the creams/lotions. To buy that many organic essential oil is very expensive, much more so than a bottle of lotion that costs $30.

    • Geron – remember that you can get 200 drops of essential oil from a 10ml bottle so you can make many batches of these treatments :)

    • @Daisy….my thoughts exactly!!! Not to mention that fact that you can use those same oils in homemade cleaning products and many other homemade beauty products!! Yes, the initial cost may be high, but the oils are very versatile, and can be used for so many other things.

    • You can buy a dry brush, a bottle of grapefruit essential oil & virgin coconut oil for under 30 bucks. That’s all you need. :)

  2. I understand. But that’s committing to (maybe) a lifetime supply upfront. That’s a lot of money for someone who just wants a sample.

It would be great if someone could just buy a bottle of the oils already mixed together, for a much cheaper price than $30. Then a first timer who’s never tried using oils can have their favourite blend and when they buy enough blends, they may have enough confidence to eventually buy the set.

  3. I have one of my best friend who has trouble with cellulite. But it seems she needs the right products and remedies to eliminate cellulite off her skin. I will recommend this post to her, Thank you so much for this post

I am curious if you are following this regimen yourself and whether or not you have noticed any improvement. I have been using grapefruit oil in coconut oil for about a month now but will definitely tweak my formula based on your article. Great post!
