How To Use Evening Primrose Oil To Stop Hair Loss

evening primrose oil for hair loss

Evening primrose is a stunning yellow flower originating from North America, this beautiful flower typically only blooms during the evening.  The beneficial secrets of this native flower are hidden away inside the tiny seeds found within.

Evening primrose oil is a welcome addition to the already long list of natural substances containing beneficial health and skin care properties.  This particular oil helps in the fight against hair loss in which many men and women are struggling with on a daily basis.  Here you will discover how evening primrose oil can help claim back every inch of confidence taken away with each strand of hair lost.

One of the main contributing factors responsible for hair loss is poor circulation and inflammation.  High levels of omega-6 can cause inflammation and therefore omega-3 fatty acids are required to reduce inflammation, evening primrose oil contains high levels of omega-3s to help maintain that balance.  These essential fatty acids are also responsible for restoring and maintaining moisture of the scalp and hair promoting healthy hair growth.

Keeping the hair hydrated is another beneficial function of evening primrose oil, this function is important in order to prevent dry and brittle hair therefore avoiding potential breakage and hair loss.  Evening primrose oil improves blood circulation of the scalp, which in turn increases flow to the hair follicles.  This increased blood flow also provides increased nutrition to the skins cell resulting in lively well-nourished hair.

Evening primrose oil can either be applied topically in the form of a scalp massage or conditioning treatment to nourish hair follicles or taken orally as a capsule supplement, either way you will receive the same beneficial results this natural oil has to offer. The recommended oral dosage for evening primrose oil is 1000mg taken 3 times daily in order to stimulate growth.

Evening primrose oil is readily available and can be purchased from leading supermarkets, pharmacies, health food retailers or even on Amazon.com.  This supplement is very affordable and is one of the most inexpensive natural treatments for hair loss.  Unfortunately it is not a quick fix solution; in order for it to be effective it must be used on a regular basis.  In most cases you may not even experience noticeable results until at least 2 months of use.  Patience and consistency is key to success.

Try out this conditioning treatment to get the ball rolling on your hair re-growth journey.

Evening primrose oil is a good oil for preventing hair loss, but it’s perhaps not the best. If you want to discover my top 10 oils for promoting hair growth and stopping hair loss, then click the link.

One oil that I don’t mention in that blog post is Mira Hair Oil, and that’s simply because I didn’t discover it until after I’d written that article. Since discovering it however, Mira Hair Oil has become my number one.

It’s a little more expensive than most, but it stops hair loss, promotes super fast hair growth, gets rid of dandruff and stops premature graying unlike any other oil.

Check out my Mira Hair Oil review to see if this oil is right for you.
