5 Powerful Ways To Naturally Reduce Your Cellulite

Cellulite, the lumpy fat deposits that most commonly form on the thighs and buttocks, are a major aggravation for many women. Embarrassment frequently prevents those with cellulite from wearing shorts, skirts or bathing suits, but don’t lose hope, there really are ways to get rid of those embarrassing, lumpy deposits.

Cellulite is caused by your body depositing toxins in the fat layer, and since your thighs and butt have the thickest layer of fat, they’re the most likely to build up enough toxins to develop cellulite. The lumpy appearance is caused by the difference in density between the fat and toxins, and eliminating the toxins will smooth the area and improve its appearance.

Drink plenty of water – the best way to flush toxins from your system is to make sure you drink at least 8 glasses of filtered water every day. If they can’t be flushed out, they’re stored in fat, encouraging the formation of cellulite. Artificial sweeteners are especially difficult for your body to deal with. Many of them break down and form formaldehyde in your digestive system, which your body can’t eliminate. Switching to healthy organic foods, eliminating artificial sweeteners, and limiting natural sugars will reduce fat formation and reduce toxic overload.

Use only natural, healthy fats in your diet – Using limited amounts of healthy fats like coconut oil or olive oil will help you control your weight and reduce the size of the fat layers cellulite forms in.

Dry skin brushing – There are many benefits to dry skin brushing; including exfoliating the skin, increasing blood flow, and reducing cellulite. The process is simple, and can take as little as 5 or 10 minutes before your daily bath. Beginning at your feet and working up to your chest, gently brush the skin with a good quality natural bristle brush, always brushing toward your heart. When you reach your chest, begin at your hands and brush up your arms to your shoulders, then down over the chest. (Using a long-handled brush will make it easier to brush your back.)

Exercise – you’ve heard it before, because it works. Regular exercise reduces weight, increases energy, improves circulation, reduces blood pressure and stress levels, and just plain makes you feel better. If you can tolerate exercising hard enough to work up a sweat, it will also help to eliminate even more toxins from your body.
